Low-cost ELM327 clones often lack what battery reads need: 29-bit CAN on Volkswagen Group MEB cars and the Zoe Ph2, or custom flow control on the Leaf, the Zoe Ph1 and Stellantis cars. Use an adapter listed for your car.
On iPhone, use a Bluetooth LE adapter such as the OBDLink CX. OBDLink MX+ support on iPhone is coming. Bluetooth Classic adapters such as the Konnwei KW902 work on Android only.
Some 2024 and newer vehicles use newer protocols (CAN FD, DoIP) that can require a different adapter. Check the model entry, or contact us.
